Oklahoma Blizzard 2011

Maybe I should start taking this Apocalypse business serious. A record snow fall stalled traffic, business and emergency services throughout Oklahoma today as one of the largest snow storms on record blanketed the country with a beautiful but dangerous layer of white flakes. Most Oklahoma residence headed warnings from the Department of Emergency Services, ODOT and other state and local Groups or perhaps it was previous lessons learned from 2007 and 2009 when ice and snow devastated Oklahomans with record power outages and deadly road conditions. Temperatures were recorded at -36 degree with wind chill and isolated wind gusts of up to 50 mph it seemed at times like a small ice age.
